The first guest of October in Conversations with Turkey’s Career Pioneers was MICROSOFT Turkey Deputy General Manager Levent Erkan and Education Sector Manager Anıl Çekiç. Mr. Erkan and Mr. Çekiç began the conversation by mentioning the reputation of Microsoft in Turkey and the world and stressed the importance of sustainability in the sector.
Mr. Çekiç said that technology in the future will be very different from today and stated that development in technology is enabled through being up to date. Mr. Çekiç also explained that Microsoft prefers to employ progressivist, talented and creative people.
Both of the career pioneers highlighted the power of imagination and told that Microsoft offers the opportunity to realize one’s dreams and that most of the technology companies invest in such dreams.
Mr. Erkan stated that technology gives hope to people in the health sector and continued his speech, explaining that we should create new technologies for future problems which might occur.
Mr. Çekiç and Mr. Erkan specified the satisfaction of finding solutions to current problems, imaginative problem solving and how companies transform these dreams into income. They ended the conversation by answering the questions of the students.
