Mr. Özkoç stressed that architecture is a learnable skill with a history of 2000 years. He added that it is a creative sector which contributes positively to city life and its residents when the projects are realized.
Mr. Özkoç explained that architecture is a collaborative process which necessitates teamwork and that each actor creates different and new solutions in this never-ending design process. Onur Özkoç stated that through architecture education one can acquire numerous skills that can be used in various other fields. He told the history of Motto Architecture and mentioned that architecture is not a one man show business and added that it requires teamwork with a solid administrative vision.
Mr. Özkoç stated that architecture is a progress which progresses slowly, that only %15 of the designed projects can be accomplished and that it takes years for a design to become liveable. Mr. Özkoç replied the questions of the students and explained that it takes at least five years to become a real architecture following graduation and that construction field experience is as crucial as making a masters and doctoral degree.
