The first guest of our TEDU Talks seminars this month was Semih Yalman. He started his "Dare to Be Human!" presentation by talking about the importance of questions we must ask ourselves and the answers given to these questions.
Stating that perception is a very relative concept, Mr. Yalman, emphasized that since people's perception of us, our perception about ourselves and our perception of other people considerably vary, what really matters is to seek out what defines us.
Continuing his speech by explaining the importance of dreaming in terms of shaping our future, Mr. Yalman also touched upon the role of taking action and the emotions we feel while discovering ourselves.
Setting forth that freedom is a hidden activation of our emotions; Mr. Yalman said that being conscious, courageous and aware are important parts of our lives and underlined the effect of being happy on being courageous.
Finally, stating that we must dare to be ourselves, Mr. Yalman ended his speech by answering the questions from participants.
