Şerif Kaynar, the second guest of our TEDU Talks series in November, started his presentation by introducing himself. Stating that he will make his speech under two headings, Mr. Kaynar in the first part shared with our students 20 tips on how to improve careers.
These recommendations are; thinking positively, valuing your work, the importance of the communication network to be established during university years, researching the person you will meet in order to be called for an interview, choosing a company that will care about you and a boss that you will respect as well as be trained by in your first job ahead of salary, to keep learning constantly in the changing world, to work somewhere else before starting your own business, to set your standards worldwide, to have a good mentor, reading a lot of books in order to be able to dream, being open to new experiences, never giving up, being generous, not being afraid to compromise, being a good marketer, following your passions, being constructive, striving to be a good leader and finally, smiling all the time because it builds up people's trust.
In the second part, Mr. Kaynar continued his speech by talking about the values that will be important in the future and what these values will be. Stating that finding a real talent and creative solutions will be more important in the future, Mr. Kaynar emphasized the importance of working with a good team, especially in companies with a good image.
At the end of his speech, answering the questions from the students, Mr. Kaynar ended his seminar after taking pictures with the participants.
